This qualification program is offered as a sandwich course exclusively at Disneyland® Paris. It combines work experience, classroom training and foreign language lessons (English or French) for one of the five jobs below:
- Food & Beverage Waiter/Waitress
- Ticketing Host/Hostess
- Reception Host/Hostess
- Commis F/M
- Attraction operator F/M
The Disneyland Paris Learning Program offers you a chance to get your first job experience at Europe’s number one international tourist destination. It enables you to earn a Professional Qualification Certificate or a Professional Title, recognised by the French Ministry of Labour, as well as a Language Proficiency Certificate in French (FLE) or in English (BULATS) at the end of the program.
Program participants benefit from a 35 hr/week fixed-term (CDD) contract for a duration of 7 to 13 months depending on the job.
You will receive an optimal mix of classroom learning and on-the-job experience: 80% of your time is spent working on location in our Parks or Hotels, where you will enjoy the daily presence and support of a tutor, and 20% of your time is dedicated to theoretical training during working hours. Training is given on Disneyland Paris premises by a professional organism and trainers from your chosen profession.
For every job in the program, we are looking above all for people who are friendly, welcoming and service-oriented and who have strong enthusiasm for our destination. No previous work experience is necessary; after all, that’s the goal of the Disneyland Paris Learning Program!
Different language levels are required to apply depending on the job:
- Commis : advanced beginner skills (A2) in French and no required level in English,
- Food & Beverage employee, Food runner: advanced beginner skills (A2) in French, beginner level (A1) in English,
- Attraction operator host/hostess, Waiter/waitress, Boutique salesperson: intermediate level (B1) in French and advanced beginner skills (A2) in English,
- Ticketing host/hostess, Receptionist: intermediate skills (B1) in French, English, as well as in a third European language.
Finally, to join the Disneyland Paris Learning Program, you should have dual motivation: gaining skills for your specific job and improving your foreign language skills. The difference between this program and fixed-term (CDD) or open-ended (CDI) contracts is that you must be willing to commit to learning the coursework and attending the training sessions.
