Job description

The shows created by Disneyland® Paris combine creativity, technical innovation and high quality artistic performance. As a hairdresser-make-up artist, you will be responsible for the performers’ hair and make-up, making you an integral part of the magic of Disneyland® Paris shows! Mastering all the professional techniques, you will faithfully recreate the standards developed for the theme of each show. Once you are fully integrated into your role, you will write up instructions and procedures (datasheets, sketches, drawings, photos…) for hairstyles and make-up based on your highly developed artistic sense and imagination. You are available to work flexible hours on weekdays, weekends and holidays, daytime and/or evening, on all show sites, working closely with performers and in coordination with technical teams (costumes, lights, sets…). This position may involve some travel away from home.

Your day-to-day responsibilities

  • Styling performers’ hair, applying their make-up and fitting hairpieces, wigs and braids
  • During shows, touching-up and changing hairstyles and make-up between scenes
  • Ensuring the artistic quality of hair and make-up tools and products
  • Designing hairstyles and make-up for performers (singers, dancers, actors) for shows, parades and events according to specific guidelines (theme, period, etc.)
  • Determining the necessary conditions (time, logistics, skills…) and means (material, budget…) for creating hairstyles and applying make-up

We are looking for candidates with

  • Proficiency in themed artistic and stage make-up
  • Proficiency in fitting hairpieces, wigs and braids required
  • CAP / BEP in hairdressing and make-up, or equivalent 2-year training certificate
  • Wig hairdressing and implant techniques are a plus
  • A taste for teamwork
  • At least 2 years’ experience in the entertainment field
  • A driving license and at least 2 years’ driving experience
  • Autonomy, patience, flexibility
