Beatrice, great talent comes in fun-sizes

Beatrice joined the Entertainment department In November 2015. She left her job as a dance teacher in her hometown Latina in Italy for a new adventure at Disneyland® Paris. After performing in many shows, parades and events, Beatrice joined the cast of Mickey and the Magician at the beginning of 2019 in Animagique theater in Walt Disney Studios Park.

  • Can you tell us how your Disney story began?

For most of my life I was unsure that my passion for dance could allow me to make a living. When I was looking for dance classes in Rome I found an audition for Disneyland Paris. I rarely meet the qualifications for dance auditions because I am 151 centimeters tall. But this audition was different. I happened to be exactly who they were looking for.

  • How did you adapt to life in France?

In the beginning it was a little bit scary. I had no clue what to expect. I made new friends and learned the language, which went easier than I expected. Now I am fluent in French, Spanish and English. The food is different, but France has a reputed cuisine and there are a lot of amazing things to do in Paris. The only thing I am still not used to is the weather. It gets very cold, especially in winter.

  • What is your most magical moment?

Every time I do something for the first time, like a new show or a new role on parade. I love the diversity. The emotion while performing on a big stage in front of thousands of guests is indescribable. I am very proud to be part of the cast of Mickey and The Magician, it is my first show in an indoor theatre.

  • What would your advice be to someone who wants to perform at Disneyland Paris?

It is an experience everyone should try. Living abroad in a new environment is a great challenge. You grow so much from working for a big company, while learning new languages and meeting people from all over the world. The job is amazing and the place is really magical.
