It is important to read the job offer carefully, and check point by point if it corresponds to your skills and your professional goals.
Start by matching each of the job’s main missions to one of your skills and make sure you can back it up with a concrete example (to be demonstrative rather than declarative). You will include these specific examples in your cover letter.
And what if you don’t meet all the requirements in the job offer? You can also include skills and qualities developed outside the working world (i.e. in school clubs, non-profit associations), highlighting how they helped you fulfil your responsibilities.
Look up information on our company, its activity sector and its products. This not only prepares you for an eventual job interview, but also shows that you understand what we are looking for and can help you integrate rapidly your new work environment.
"It's really important to know well upstream about our company to have the necessary product knowledge at the job interview".
Thierry Michel, recruiter
It’s easy to do. First, look through our Careers site for an overview of Disneyland Paris as an employer: you can look at profession pages, Cast Member interviews, information about the company and its values.
Then, don’t forget to check out the social networks Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or LinkedIn to keep up to date with what’s new at our company, or to ask specific questions. Many videos on our shows are available on many platforms like YouTube, Dailymotion...
It’s time to write your CV and cover letter!
Remember: our recruitment reps receive a lot of mail. So stay short, sweet, and especially clear! They need to understand, in a few minutes, why you want to work for us and what makes you the best candidate for the job.
Following the selection of your application, an invitation for an interview will be sent by email.
Course of the interview
After a presentation of the company and the intermittent status, the recruiter will learn about your availability and information relating to a possible contract.
Thereafter, you will be asked to respond to various tests to assess your knowledge on consoles (Hog 3 and Grand Ma 2), electricity and electronics. Twenty minutes will be allocated to respond.
These tests are followed by an interview with one of our Light Department Manager who will review the answers to the test with you and ask you questions about your background and elements sent in your application.
After the theory, practice: you might also be evaluated in handling a console or a few welding exercises.
After this interview, you will be contacted (e) within 8 days with an answer.
It's your turn !
